The spacecraft enters in the Martian atmosphere and inflates balloons, opens the parachute and ignites propellant. Through one cable the Mars Curiosity downs and lands on Mars. The Martian atmosphere is heared and the spacecraft checks its equipment. It focus, takes pictures, moves the robotic arm and moves stones from the surface of the planet.
