This 24bit 48KHz sample is a 2 minute recording of a dripping eavestrough pipe outside the studio on October 1st 2010. The weather had been wet and, whilst standing at the door, I noticed the regularity of the dripping. We decided to record it using a Josephson C42 microphone through NPNG preamp directly to Pro Tools. The mic was placed a few inches from the opening of the pipe and several droplets hit it, causing a massive noise which we edited out. In the background you can hear cars and regular city sounds. Recorded by Brady Leduc.
