Award-winning composer René Verón has scored for all genres of film, including for features and shorts, dramas, and documentaries.
He has worked with the outstanding director Ram Devineni on several of his films, including Parvati Saves the World, The Hydra, and The Karma Killings; he has composed the music for dozens of nationally-released commercials, including for Verizon, Amnesty International, and McDonald’s.
René is also a seasoned music producer, having been at the helm of several albums. He also boasts a successful career as a voice-over artist, working on many ad campaigns, and hundreds of audiobooks.
René holds multiple degrees in music, including a master's in composition from Duquesne University, as well as others in the fields of ethnomusicology, technology, and music education.
Originally from Chile, René resides in New York City with his wife and two young children.
