Sampled from custom-made 13.5 inch HiHat cymbals created by master cymbal smith Mike Skiba. The top cymbal weighs in at 1145 grams with the bottom weighing 1215 grams. This is a stick hit on the edge of the loosly opened cymbals using the shank of the stick and allowing the cymbals to "sizzle" against one another, as they are commonly played

Glad you all are enjoying. I feel very lucky to own this set of cymbals, the hats are very musical and versatile. Thanks for the feedback! -- PJC

Very nice. Hats have a tendency to sound clunky, or too bright, but these sound dark and crisp, not usual to get a combination of these two qualities which in my opinion are the best two qualities for hats.
