Love computers, mobiles, tablets and any consoles for that matter. I have had a love for technology since I was very young. I have a strong interest in customization and modifications of Windows and Android (or any other software/Operating Systems I use). I have customized the Bootscreens, Icons, Sounds, Cursors and Themes of probably everything I have owned for the last few years.
As far as Windows. I started with Windows 95/98 by customizing sounds and bootscreens since cursors and other things at the time would boggle down RAM. I did my most mods to XP however, years later. I used Windows 7 for the last few years and had grown to really love it and as of today it is my favorite (and statistically the best running Windows OS to date). While not spending as much time learning the how's/can't in 7, I probably customized and modified just as much as I did in XP.
Having bought a new Touchscreen laptop a little under a year ago, the ASUS Vivobook (Ultrabook) came with Windows 8 so my first and natural thoughts having heard all the bad hype about it was to downgrade back to 7 but while making preparations to pre-download the Windows 7 drivers before installing it (so it won't take long to get everything working correctly - sound, video, etc.) I find that this model was made specifically (as are many now-a-days) for Windows 8. No Windows 7 support at all. Here we are today and after upgrading to 8.1 in the Windows App Store (Microsoft's Android Market/Google Play) I have come to really like and appreciate all of the small tweaks and changes that in the long run make everything easier. Long story short if you give Windows 8.1 a shot and some time, I think you will find it is not all that bad. Even Network/Media Server support are just as reliable as Windows 7.
With that being said, I have just recently started customizing Windows 8 and I am working with the SOUNDS now. Which is what brought me here.
P.S. Sorry most of this had nothing to do with myself, but instead my thoughts.
