check your volume! Some of the sounds in this pack are loud and uncomfortable.
Menacing machine drones, it goes eerily quiet and an uncomfortable clicking and static feedback builds up.

    Wow, thanks for that, yes it was just set to default (8) So I did it again changing it to 32 and you're right! Much cleaner looking and sounding (for a bunch of hideous noise anyway) and the clip itself is much shorter. interesting . . . :) I added the sound to this pack (menacingmachine1version2)

    I suspect you have imported a 32 bit depth image as a 16 bit depth sound. - because all the black gaps if you look at the sound image as a spectrogram.

    Try importing this image again as 32 bit depth sound, if you can. (and see how different it sounds. Are the gaps gone?)
