A propeller airplane passing while I was recording in the field. Recorded with the zoom h4 using internal mics, the stereo image is exactly as picked up.

@MissloonerVoiceOver255 right? This was 2008 and the H4 (first version, bought second hand from someone who got it in Japan!) suffered of a bug where there was (a very low) noise when operated on battery apparently caused by the disk writing. Some forums at the time were suggesting that using higher sample-rates could minimize the effect. Now-a-days I'd say anything more than 48k would be overkill for just recording. Anyway there are a bunch of programs to convert/downsample - enjoy ;-)
