A very typical recording of late summer as the insects wake up. This recording was done in the backyard in a small town around 5:00 in the morning. Just a wonderful example of the very rhythmic, ebb and flow that these choruses of summer make.
I used my Zoom H4N recorder with its internal built-in microphones with the volume set on 78.

Hi Shifty3000,
Yes, everything on Freesound is FREE to use -- that is the philosphy of freesound.
So sure, use any of my sounds you would like -- don't know how many you have listened to, but I have almost 100 similar nature and natural environmental sounds on here.
Giving me credit is great, although, could you use my REAL NAME of Kevin Boucher, instead of my free-sound nickname of kvgarlic?
Many thanks and I'm glad you are able to find a use for my sounds.
