Near where I do many of my favorite nature recordings there are train tracks which can ocassionally be very busy -- and yes, sometimes they have interfered with some of my nature recordings.
BUT, recently I recorded the sound of the approaching train carrying loads of coal.
It was around dusk and breezy -- melancholy combination....
I really love the echo of the whistle....and as I listened I could not help but think about 100 years ago when trains were more common, amazing how things change.
Well, here it is.

Hey, kvgarlic,
Would you mind if I uploaded the thingy to YouTube? And how do I give you credit for the sound? Sorry, I am out of my depth. I am sure the answer is dead simple, but I am in new territory.
I'll call it Dragonfly Love.
Waiting to hear from you.
