Yachts sail in and out and wait in a lock in the river Maas near the village Lith in the Netherlands.
It’s calm high summer day and a lot of yachts and people around looking here. Ashore, many Dutch people who know everything better. They give well-meaning advice that did not help the amateur helmsmen. Hugely entertaining. As you can hear this location is also a meeting-point for the villagers. they talk about the various vessels and the last village news. Sometimes you hear the Marifoon (ship-radio between ship and shore). The lockmaster is a busy man. When you hear the hooter the vertical doors open and ships leave.
