A group of graffiti artists in there thirties make an enormous painting on an old factory wall (see pictures). Some people living in this area visit them.

This is an old railway track from the 70's. Most of the factory’s are gone. Now it is a quiet spot in a busy city.

What you hear;
Left two man, visitors from this neighbourhood, chat about the young years.
Left, middle and right the artists are working with paint-rolers. Because the wall is partly covered with steel you hear a scratching noise. You hear the use of an aluminium ladder and a stepladder. Other block is using spray-cans. These people are remarkably cooperative and have a lot of friendly discusions about the work and how to handle.
One guy has a skateboard and plays with it and talks about his capacity with someone else. Other artist are more of chatting than working. It's a warm warm summer day. A para-glider over head for a moment.
Some far traffic and trains in the background sometimes.
The hole ambiance is very relaxed and peaceful. This is what life is about.

A special thanks for all these people for the permission to upload this recording. Hope you enjoy.

I'm really glad to have this legal graffiti place with these so nice people in our city for so many years. Because this is one of the last legal graffiti locations in Holland many of them use this place to create beautiful art. LOOK HERE for graffiti from 2010 till now on this location. Pictures from Dave

I don't understand the Dutch language, but I needed a soundscape similar to this to help me relax into a scene I'm writing. Thank you! Very relaxing, and exactly what I needed.
