By the complete reconstruction of a railway-track at the North of my city the construction-workers make the base for a viaduct for trains. Concrete piles a driven into the soil. The beauty of this recording is the 'concert-noise' two pile driving rigs make when the work together arithmetic.
The rigs used here two-stroke diesel hammers.
The deep humming is from an enormous diesel generator powering the hole plant.

Thank you very much for providing this sound.
I used it as part of a collage in a piece called "Chasing the Mountain of Light" which is listenable and downloadable on SoundCloud here: https://soundcloud.com/ivodne-galatea/chasing-the-mountain-of-light
The natural quasi-randomness matched up perfectly with an older piece of music I had recorded. Thank you very much
