19 Hz should be The fearing frequency. Horror. Indeed, you do not hear anything! Sub-aural sound is sound you can not hear but you have to feel. It should give someone a haunted ghost feeling when played on a very high 'volume'. People do not why the feel bad but the do, as the 'proved or not' during the famous television program Mythbusters on discovery channel.
This random sound created by me is between 17 and 22 Hz, around the fearing frequency.
Only 'audible' on a good HiFi system or top class headphones, but
WARNING WARNING If you play this sound on a to high level on your SOUND-SYSTEM IT WILL BREAK DOWN for sure.... your sub-woofer will die. So, play it at the same level as the other sounds of the film or game you are making. That will be save, but do not give any guaranty!

You can hear the effect. It almost sounds like very deep almost in audible banging like some one is walking around upstairs maybe this is why it gives the presence that some one is there ? =S
