Angela Saucier interviewed people on the California Zephyr about their experiences while traveling during their life. While crossing Iowa, this mother and daughter told Angela several stories. In the middle of this recording, the mother remembers walking through quicksand in Algeria when she was younger, a new story for her daughter. Recorded with a Rode NTG-1 on an PMD 660. (PMD was overmodulating at low recording levels … very weird. Sorry about that.)

Caspar and Bryron, thanks to both of you for the heads up, and I'm so glad you were able to use the track. It's cool to hear how you each used the audio differently in your compositions. They both sound great.
