The Tuohitorvi(birch-bark horn)dates back to ancient times and is often referred to in the Finnish book of legends,The Kalevala. Two blasts on a horn made in the 80's,the first was recorded outdoors in an open quarry with surrounding cliff-face that gives the natural echo.No effects added.Recording chain NT4/blimp-BMA2-R09HR.The second blast is the first one pitched down 5 semitones in Soundforge.Photo of horn

Hey! I used your sound in my documentary series about Germany! www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRq966bBUlA
You are listed in the end credits and at the following link since Youtube wouldn't let me put all the credits in the description field:bit.ly/1gWSeOt
I used it for big horns on a mountaintop.
The credits are also accessible by clicking on the credit link when it appears in the video during the credits at the end.
Thank you for sharing your sound!
    Thanks,
    Kris Boruff
