Voices and songs of Gargano's country - Italy. Voice of Michele Ciccone. Powerful voice with the 'castagnole' (it. nàcchere or castagnette = castanets) and harmonic. He was born in Mattinata in the 1922. When was young he played the 'serenate' (lovely songs typically played in the south Italy, under the balcony of the sweetheart) to the girls of the country accompanied from some musicians. Recorded the 11 March 1997 thanks to Angelo Pantaleo's mobile recording studio.
