The sound of a lone cricket chirping. Not a whole bunch in a night scene -- just one. It's hard to get the sound of just one cricket. They usually stop chirping just as you approach with a microphone. But with some patience, I was able to corner one in a bush outside my motel room. He sang this song for me.

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sorry, but I didn't save the original version. From what I remember, it was pretty dirty because it was recorded in a parking lot of a motel with a bunch of cars and air conditioners and stuff. I just kept the best chirps that I could recover from that recording.
