The ticking of an old fashioned mechanical wind-up alarm clock. The sound has been trimmed and re-calibrated so that it is exactly one minute long and so that it is perfectly loopable to make it as long as you need it. This one is recorded "dry" There has been no post-processing except for trimming and adjusting the length. For the same sound with reverb added, check out alarm_clock_ticking_02.wav.

Sounds like there may be some aliasing going on on the ticking. It's adding noise. Great SFX though almost exactly 120 BPM.
