Staying in a vintage science-fiction mood, this sound was made by overlaying whistling sounds, which were then filtered through a "Delay". The idea is to imitate some sort of flying saucer taking-off.
4 whistles, starting and ending at various frequencies (440-1320Hz, 50-770Hz, 50-1200Hz and 0-1800Hz) are overlayed with a few seconds of red sound and a few seconds of pink sound (which were both toyed with manually, using the enveloppe tool.)
Made using only Audacity.
