The Mittellandkanal (German for "midland canal") is, at 325.7 km, the longest artificial waterway in Germany. This track was recorded in Hanover, with the equipment placed on a bench on the side of the canal on a warm evening in June. Towards the end you hear a riverboat passing. A Fel preamp, Shure WL 183 microphones and a R-09HR recorder were used.
