The birds were doing their best on this recording at the end of April, which I started at 5 am using a FEL preamp, the Shure WL 183 microphones and an iRiver IHP-120 recorder.
Well, and as anybody seems to put in recordings of extrem length, I was tempted, too. Cut out, what you like best.

this recording has some interesting things about it, but its not one of inchadney's best, imho. there is a fair amount of rumbling background sound (traffic and airplanes?) which kind of distracts from the nature sounds. i like the "Scottish Morning" series better.

Great recording, the Shures do an excellent job, don't they? And Reinsamba... actually there are several longer, although less valuable by far :-)

You've beaten the record, no wav-file bigger than this one on freesound, I guess! My challenge was to be the first to download, I hope not to be the only.
Well since free time became rather limited for me in this spring, You gave me the chance to listen to that wonderful dawn chorus. Thanx for sharing!
