November 7th, 2007

Some rain, recorded in November 2007, in a backyard in town, using a HHB Portadisk and the Sennheiser MKE 44 P microphone with some filter on at the microphone, because it was pretty windy and I just had a small Rycote mini windjammer to hand.

Not very exciting, because it sounds more like "white noise".

Excellent heavy rain and wind. Just a note that after high amplification there are some almost audible voices between 8 and 10 minutes. At low amplification they will be unnoticeable.

    Thank you for this.

Funny! I use this sound clip for the same thing...our new born loves it...or rather we love how it keeps her sleeping!

My newborn's sound machine kicked the bucket and this did the job! It may not be very exciting to you, but it was to me because it worked like a charm ;)
