This nightingale was singing its beautiful song in the middle of the day, near a lake, south of Hannover / Germany, in the middle of May 2007.
I managed to record all this with the Sony HiMD MiniDisc Recorder MZ-NH 1 in the PCM mode and the Soundman OKM II with the A 3 Adapter, standing nearly underneath the bird.

Very nice sample! I love how distinctly the sound is reproduced, too bad for the background noise. Otherwise truly a great sample!

Yes, birds song is very beautiful and clear but that background sound of cars is little bit disturbing the experiense of enjoying the super songer. Many thanks from Finland.
