Recording in a cafeteria in Germany. This recording was done with a Zoom H2 recorder. The most unusual feature of the H2 is its triple quadruple mic capsule, which enables various types of surround recordings, including a matrixed format that stores 360° information into four tracks for later extraction into 5.1. This is the rear microphone track. With a tool it is possible to convert the H2 quad recordings into six channels, according to 5.1 SMPTE/ITU standard. Here is a link: http://www.2090.org/zoom/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=9569 . You need to download the track of the microphones in the back, too.
