Actually there should have some noise still in the recording, but it's extremely easy to be removed in Audition (or any other with similar tool).
Also the train (KRS991) isn't getting really loud noise on its riding, this is also the reason that makes the original recording clear.
Finally, having a portable recorder with setting the mic gain to "low sensitivity" whilst recording, and put the mic in front of the PA speaker will get the best result of recording.

Really like this recording. How did you manage to get such a clear sound? There is absolutely no ambient noise!
