This one is complex. The looped pad-like sound was a tiny clip of sound from my radio, which was processed heavily. There's a really low frequency sound you can't really hear, that was just a sine wave with wah, phase, and a lot of other filtering stuff. Used a harmonic noise generating thing for Audacity for some sweeping sounds. The frog-like sound that's looped was synthesized entirely. Another addition to my popular "detailed soundscapes" collection ;D I liked these two samples a lot, don't be shy, share your opinion!

Beautiful, but now I must check for aliens.

It just gives you the willies.

silkworm, highpass filter and some eq'ing you can get that sound easy, I don't have the sound itself anymore, though. I suppose next time I'll upload the samples I used in these soundscapes. thanks for the comments and downloads everyone!

    Really enjoying these soundscapes.
Tempted to bash together a few of my own soon!

The creation of a "natural" soundscape using pure synthesis is certainly an intriguing concept.
