This is a sample of lots of crickets singing in a field or meadow. This is not directly recorded but made of a variety of different (real) cricket recordings. The file includes two kinds of field cricket species. The "Fall Field Cricket" and the "Variable Field Cricket". Then there is a chorus of two tree cricket species. The "Prairie Tree Cricket" and the "Four-spotted Tree Cricket". The clicking sounds are recordings of some katydids. The mentioned species are very common in the western US. And the sample is perfect for scenes where you are in the field, meadow or in the prairie in late summer. Enjoy! :D I encourage you not to use this sound in projects and sounds that maybe are going to be sold due to copyright issues that could occur by doing so.
