the flute-like, mysterious singing of one Golden Oriole (Orioulus oriolus, Spanish Oropendola), with chirps of House Martins in background. I couldn't see the bird, but my guess is it was some 200 m away from the mics, so it was a powerful singer (and powerful mics!). Recorded on the shore of Embalse Agrio Dam (Aznalcollar, Sierra Morena S Spain). Sennheiser MKH60 + MKH30 into Shure FP24, Edirol R09 recorder. Decoded to mid-side stereo with free Voxengo VST plugin
