Blackcap singing amazingly, a Hoopoe and other birds in background, just a couple minutes. I recorded several hours of this which I can upload if you really like, that would give me be the perfect excuse to reach the top of the uploads list :-)

This to me is sonic and ornithological heaven - the blackcap is a British resident but now uncommon and rarely seen in the North where I live but on the occasions I have found it I have been entranced by its song. The hoopoe I have only seen when travelling but again a joy to see ans hear. Here they are both together with your trademark incect sounds and what sounds like a million more birds. Joy. And yes - by special demand upload the rest [preferably in chunks!] - it would be great to hear and even greater to see you top freesounder which is what you are.
