Thank you for making this recording available. I have used it as part of the sound montage behind an arrangement of the Ainu tonkori piece Ponsumari Heciri, a traditional tonkori dance illustrating fox cubs (or spirits) dancing in the moonlight.

You're probably right, I believe it could be a fox

This is a beautiful sound with the pure rhythm of the owl calls like a meditation. The bark is a little like a fox but they usually sound more harsh.
