Pinewood ambiance near Hinojos, Spain with birds singing. Serin, Chaffinch, Warblers, Starling... Wind can also be heard on tree tops above. Recorded with a pair of Shure WL183 omnidirectional capsules (each inserted in a small bag of fake fur for wind protection), FEL preamp and Edirol R09 recorder. Capsules hanged outside the left/right windows of my car, so I guess the mic configuration could be described as spaced omni with a barrier (the car itself)

I have been enjoying all your bird song recordings. This is particularly nice because of the rich busyness of the bird's chatter. The flies are excellent too. There's real space and depth here.

Another gem from freesound's master. The mic separation has really enhanced the stereo field. I recently heard of friend of a friend who had a serious illness and was comforted by nature sounds. I directed her to your sounds. They have that real quality of "being there" that is so hard to get.
