Clock tic-tocs recorded inside the quietest place at my home, a walk-in wardrobe. Soundman-OKM mics, FEL BMA1 preamp, iRiver H120 recorder. Note: the first third of this recording has the preamp set at half-gain; in the second part the preamp is a tad below maximum output. Finally, during the third part the preamp was also slightly below maximum, but there were no sound sources - except for the hard disk of the recorder, which can be heard spinning, and muffled sounds that crossed the walls. The (rockboxed) iRiver was set to provide no gain (0) throughout. By request of Inchadney. WARNING: lots of hiss

Well Dobroide, thank you very, very much!!!!!! : ) Also thanks for all the trouble you took recording this. The gain with the preamp is much higher, then the FEL 3.5 SJ 20 dB Stereo microphone preamplifier I use, maybe because the otherwise brilliant H120 has not enough plug in power.
