beep alarms from my Sanyo watch, and 'silence' as heard by Sennheiser ME66 (left) and Sennheiser MKH60 (right channel). The recorder was a Fostex FR2LE, with no mic output trimming (i.e. both tiny knobs set full to the right) and level set one notch below maximum. Worth noting the different sound of the K6 mic vs the MKH, which has flatter response and less self-noise.
