This is one of two recordings I made comparing the internal mics of an Edirol R09HR and R09. This is the R09HR. The sound is of children playing in the street. Recording levels were matched between the recorders [high sensitivity, low-cut off, display dim, plugin-power off]. The R09HR has less hiss and better sensitivity. Original recording was made at 24 bit 44.1 kHz, converted to 320 kbps mp3.

  Not with binaural mics, but yes with low-noise external mics, using the internal mic-pres try this...

  I liked the comparison between the R09 and the R09HR using the internal mics. Have you done a comparison using the binaural mics?
