This is a single set of chirps from a cricket at close range ~10 cm. Required a lot of stealth to get in close without disturbing the little blighter :) Recording chain: Rode NT-4 stereo mic (one capsule pointed at the cricket) --> Sound Devices MixPre (50% gain) --> Edirol R-09 recorder (line-in 24 bit 44.1 kHz, rec level = 10) --> Edited in www.flstudio.com Edison wave editor --> 16 bit 44.1 kHz.
