"help me" seems common in EVP ,
e.g. http://www.freesound.org/people/Timbre/sounds/219020/
[ shorter words are more likely to emerge from random sounds ]

Thanks for the comment. I'm also skeptical of such things in general, but I do have an open mind. Actually that's why I searched for EVP and paranormal clips here on Freesound and cleaned up the best ones. So far the only time I've experienced something like this is when I was recording some ambiance on a windy night at the edge of a forest. Dheming, excellent work cleaning it up. I used to be really skeptical about recording anomolies (and still am-- you can never rule out some kind of interference). I have somewhere the full recording and it is about an hour long. Have you ever experienced such a thing while recording?
