Bad windstorm was came to Pécel, Hungary on 31st March 2012. I recorded some sounds caused by the wind, for example door shutting, trees whizzing, etc. I used SONY Stereo dictaphone, 44100 kHz, 16 bits, Stereo. I tried to minimize the rumbling sounds.

hear-no-elvis: the microphone was by the window, I put it into sponge and nylon too (the sponge was outside, the nylon was inside.

I like this file, and am downloading it. Thanx.
How did you minimize the rumbling? Was it done by shielding the mic? I wonder if it might feel more real with some more bass included.
