Recorded in February 2009 on Crosby beach, north of Liverpool in the Mersey estuary. This recording is of moderate waves lapping on a sand bank, at ebbing tide. A dog barks far away and a man walks past. I was standing with the sea on my left and the shore on my right for this recording, with the stereo microphone in front of me and the waves lapping at my feet. Recorded with the Olympus WS311M digital recorder and a Yoga stereo Microphone. Edited in Wavepad sound editor and equalised in Goldwave. Uploaded in very high quality uncompressed .wav format, though the file is rather large.
