Credo in Deum , Patrem omnipotentem, creatorem coeli et terrae. Et in Jesum Christum, Filium ejus unicum, Dominum nostrum: Qui conceptus est de Spiritu Sancto, natus ex Maria Virgine: passus sub Pontio Pilato, crucifixus, mortuus, et sepultus: descendit ad inferos, tertia die resurrexit a mortuis: ascendit ad coelos, sedet ad dexteram Dei Patris omnipotentis: inde venturus est judicare vivos, et mortuos. Credo in Spiritum Sanctum: sanctam Ecclesiam Catholicam, Sanctorum communionem, Remissionem peccatorum, Carnis resurrectionem, Vitam aeternam. Amen.
The priest's manual "Rituale Romanum" dating from 1847, suggests to pronounce the "Credo" with "clara voce" loudly, like a soldier before the fight. This prayer is usually followed by the "Pater Noster" (Our Father), an innermost prayer.

I used this sound in the third story of a trio of flash pieces, "The Drowner" for Pseudopod, the audio horror fiction podcast, available here:

Many thanks!

I have looked everywhere for this! There is nothing of decent quality anywhere on the net, and most of the time it is in english! Every film that has a graveside service has this prayer being uttered by the priest, yet there is so little available in sound banks or just floating around on the net, so thank you for adding this, it really saved my project!
