Tape: TDK D60 (around 1986)
Recorder: Sony TCM-150 (built-in mic)
Player: Sony TCM-150
This is the sound of me operating the tape deck of my compact stereo.
Open, insert tape, close, play, open, pick tape, close.
The sequence is repeated twice, separated by two finger snaps.
The open/close button is mechanical, the play is servo, but broken, so it auto-stops.

@Snapper4298: Thank you! And yes, that's surely one of the possible uses and why I even left the finger snaps in :)

I like it. Think I could crop out some bits to make a drum kit ^_^
