Reminds me of the jump sounds in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. This is a sound generated in program (called "SFXR" available here: http://www.drpetter.se/project_sfxr.html) that simulates 8-bit gaming types of sounds. I used a parametric EQ low-pass filter to get rid of some harsh high frequencies and let the lower ones pass through. I also put a mastering filter on it to enhance the mid-range frequencies. Filtered in Audition.
