Mea Culpa! VillaGGio it is! (Italian has a lot of uses for "G"--gi, gh, gg, etc.--and I still haven't gotten the pronunciation either! What a subtle language!) I may know someone who can check the Farsi spelling: I just don't know if he'll get my email soon. So, as we say, "don't hold your breath". But what you have is phonetic, anyway. This was a wonderful upload, c. Again, many thanks to you and your friend.

Thanks for your beautiful contributions, cajo! My wife and I used this clip as a "world ambience" (among others) in our free-to-download, non-commercial cover of Pink Floyd's "On the Turning Away": Listen to it here, the Farsi voice can be heard around 3:30 or so: http://themajestichigh.bandcamp.com/track/on-the-turning-away-pink-floyd and please feel free to download the track as well: http://www.mediafire.com/?n6yqcjy2zrdnqbe

yes Mark it's Farsi = modern Persian. I would be happy if somebody Persian speaking will check the form and the spelling. villaGGio globale!
Love that you got Persian. (is it Farsi? are they the same?) Real global village stuff.
