These recordings were made during a location-scouting trip I took some time ago to southern Germany, where we had a look at some cathedrals to shoot a documentary.
I took the time to record a few atmos with my handy H2...
This recording was done in the Speyer Cathedral's main transcept, just as I was recording, a visiting men's choir decided to have an impromptu sing, setting themselves up in the eastern choir. I'm afraid some clipping has ocurred, as the gentlemen had a somewhat unexpected dynamic range... ;-)
