A loopable recording of the wind blowing in some cherry trees. ECM-MS907 - MZ-N10 - iRiver H120. July 2006. Two "Virgin Airlines" bedsocks were covering the mic to keep direct wind out of the mic! I carefully edited the end/start junction in Cool Edit Pro for amplitude, stereo balance and tonal quality to produce a loopable sample.

It wasn't too bad. I worked at lower volumes mostly, removing some birds and traffic, then bumped up the volume for final checks and loop effects.

still remember the terrible headache I got while editing - with headphones - my wind samples. I felt really sick. Did it happen to you?
