Ah man I love Marantz PMD620. Such a tank of a recorder and a radio broadcasting classic. I seen NPR still using some back in 2015. Might have to grab myself one off ebay just for the nostalgia.

I used this as a directional ambient sound after putting it in mano for a zombie themed audio only teamplay FPS called swamp, I make my own campaigns, minigames you can write with the coding language, SCS, that comes with the game, and this is a big favorite among the community, this sound is used in a staff room behind a reception desk in a hotel, thankyou so much. Can't believe sound ideas let me down on this one, haha, public domain awesomeness to the rescue. Again!

Excellent recording! I love the fact there is almost no background noise.

The sniffing sound might have been me, trying to clear my sinuses. Didn't even know the sound was there.
Thanks for the comment, glad you found the soundclip useful.

I found 4 or 5 drip coffee maker recordings in the freesound archive, and this is my second favorite. The duration, 1min,17sec, makes it a good length for a useful sample feel, and it has a good sound signature for variety of sounds taking place. I have shared this thru emails to friends. I notice at the very end of the recording there's a sound like a person sniffing.
