    slight hostility, amen is held in high regards to me but i love it and hate it at the same time. the problem with it is it sounds so much like amen you cant get away from it, inless you mangle it beyond sounding like anything, then someone would maybe still be able to tell it was amen.

    just wanna say that the amen break is really a great place to start if your a beginner junglist because its so easy to use.

    even unsliced, it's a great example for people who want to get an idea of what can be done with drums aside from the basic backbeats.

    contrary to the tags i added it is really inspiring, if not a bit overused, but it makes me want to get a drum set of my own.

    too many people disregard the drum set as "not a real instrument" etc, replacing drummers with machines, but in reality the drum set is one of the most difficult instruments to master.

    also, im glad to see my tags were met with the response i intended to provoke (humor) instead of hostility
