Really nice and bright for my use on the iPad!

I think you'll find it needs to be converted to 44.1 kHz for use in most of your DAW's peeps :)
Get a copy of Audacity (free) to do it

longshot1710 "is there a reason that when i pop this into ableton the waveform shows up as many vertical lines and it sounds like white noise but plays perfectly if i open in VLC?"
    .
It's a 32-bit depth WAV file , some software cannot play them.
Converting it to a 16-bit-depth version should solve the problem.
