More fireworks, with Mrs. Welch saying, "Well, I guess you missed it." The fireworks in this recording were, by far, the closest I've ever been to a firework exploding.

Thanks a lot man! I used my Sony Minidisc recorder and a Sony ECM-DS70P condenser mic (which came with the recorder). What really helped out with making the fireworks sound so awesome was I was about 25 feet away when the fireworks were launched out of the mortars, so they were about 100-200 feet in the air when they blew up. One of them blew up so close to me that I was covered in little bits of black ashes. LOL
