A semi-automatic rifle, unpitched
Made in bitwig, i used 10 different recorded gunshot layers that have been eq'ed and multiband compressed to form a new gun sound. Subbass was synthesized for the super low end.
The process i use is to select frequencies using high pass and lowpass filters from a recording for the lows, mids and highs. This forms a "layered sound"
A kick drum was put before the initial gunshot to give it punch and make it sound larger.
Enjoy.

Nice!
I think this could go really awesomely with some cave like reverb as a dramatic element, but even as it is, it really makes me feel like I'm right their at the bench rest with that triangle shaped stereo field
Though it would be kinda over the top, I think it would be pretty awesome looped too, though I'd probably put a different tail on it.
Sounds allot like the style many games are adopting now, kind of Battle field/Arma esc, but a little less punchy and with less of a tail.
I could do without the debris trail being so loud, and the punch of the initial blast is mismatched with the comparatively light tail, but that does give it a unique sound that I kind of like anyway.
Thanks for sharing!
