This is a stereo recording made from the window of a traditional Japanese farmhouse (called Village Ina), in Ina, Nagano, late september 2016. Some workers were plucking vegetables on this rainy day. (This is close to the Japanese Alps, an area that inspired Studio Ghibli's "My Neighbour Totoro")
Recorded with the Zoom H2n Handy recorder. You can hear:
- raindrops falling on the house, the roof, the land
- various birds (chirps and crow sounds)
- various crickets, cicadas... strong sounds
- cars passing by (around 1:10, the driver really needs to shift up lol)
- a tractor engine (around 2:20)
